I will admit I've never had real loco moco before, but I've had a lot of meaty snacks and these were fairly meh. They were slightly sweet, mostly savory, and if you asked me to identify the flavor without me knowing what it was, I would have no idea. It tasted pretty generic to me. I do love the crunch and fun factor of eating the little potato rings, but I'd rather just have plain or consomme or something.
