Generally I can pick up food when using these. I did have a bit of trouble with sushi, but less so with ramen and they seem to be okay in hot water. They're a little slippery so if you have trouble holding chopsticks these may not be the best, but otherwise I think they're good. I think they are pretty, the design and color are very nice.
